THE DTO STORY
New Chapter. Same DNA.
Die Trying Official was born in Brisbane from a family who lived and breathed fitness. David and Tahlia launched DTO when Tahlia was eight months pregnant with their first child. Wild timings! But the best things in life never come easy.
As a family of CrossFit athletes, bodybuilders and boxers, they set out to build more than just gear. They built a statement. A movement.
A brand for the ones who train hard and hustle harder.
That foundation is everything. And it doesn’t change.
In February 2026, Justine and I became the proud new owners of Die Trying Official, and we carry that legacy forward with everything we’ve
got.
My name is Brett. Husband, Dad of two, Townsville local. I spent nine years in the Australian Army and that time shaped everything about how I move through the world. The discipline. The standard you hold yourself to when no one’s watching. You don’t leave that behind when you get out. You carry it with you.
After the Army I went to the mines, and Justine and I brought our first business together Sizzas Hair and Beauty, right here in Townsville. We didn’t come from money or connections. We came from hard work and a belief that if something’s worth doing, it’s worth going all in.
When I found DTO, I didn’t just see a clothing brand. I saw a brand built for people like me. People who Train because it’s who they are,
not just what they do. People who’ve taken hits. People who don’t do half
measures.
I train hybrid and hit the gym. I live the lifestyle this brand was built for. And now Justine and I are here to grow what Tahlia and David started, for every person who knows what it means to show up on the hard days, earn everything they have, and never ever settle.
This is DTO, and we’re just getting started.
